Lower Lighthouse

Lower Lighthouse
The lower lighthouse on the shores of Bridgwater Bay at Burnham On Sea, The light is needed to keep vessels away from the Gore Sands which has claimed many ships and where wrecks are often exposed at low tides, The town including the shortest pier in the country can be seen in the distance,

Large please.

Thank you Peter very much appreciated,
If you are able to view the image large, on the sea wall to the right of the church tower is another red stripe on a white background this lines up with a light on top of the church as the next turning marker to guide ships into the river.

A well framed photo, Roger. A classic and perfectly matched track for 'Sight and Sound'. I think I may be using this track with one of my future uploads :-)
