I am a bit bemused as to how this upload was 5 days ago and I see it for the first time this evening, I have been very busy of late but I know I have looked in on your page at least twice since last weekend. Anyway good shot for the HFF, what strikes me the most is the quality railings (Stainless steel) by the looks of it, quiet an expense for presumably a public stairway.

They are stainless steel Maurice mainly because the huge tidal range of the Bristol Channel covers them at high tides.

Many thanks Steve, lowish tide indeed this is the Bristol Channel with it's huge tidal range which is why the railings are regularly covered by the tide and why they are stainless steel.
