To the Foreshore

This is only way down to this section of the interesting rock formations that can be found on the foreshore at Kilve in Somerset,
The water is the Bristol Channel and the distant coastline is South Wales.

Iv'e been back several times on this one Roger, I'm sure I commented but obviously not, are the rock formations natural? seems like some form of base was there before being washed away. Nice position on the stairs with the shadow adding extra detail.

Indeed the are Maurice, this foreshore has been used in films and music videos the one that springs to mind is Bryan Adams song Everything I Do (the theme from Robin Hood) ,
Out of view are formations that look like miniature Giants Causeways.

präsentierst Du uns hier weitere Basaltformationen diesmal in Wales, Roger.
Auch in meiner Heimat hat sich vor Millionen von Jahren die Lava ähnlich geformt.
