A tiny settlement on the north side of Loch a' Choire, Morvern, Highland, Scotland,
In the Pip Kingairloch Church located on the bay of Camus na Croise can be seen centre right.

On a day in mid June and apart from us not a soul on the shore,

Mallaig is a few miles north of here Lothar, but as you say the ferries still sail to Skye from the there.
