A train run as part of Toowoomba's Carnival of Flowers. It runs between Toowoomba and Spring Bluff, taking people to an unused station with a well-developed garden. The train is shown here at the top of the climb to Toowoomba and about 7-8 minutes from Toowoomba station.

That's a fair sized train, they must have had good patronage for the trip. Good shots.

One needs to book well in advance to get a seat. it's years since you could turn up, buy a ticket and travel. This year the loading was limited due to COVID but prior to it every seat was occupied for two return runs per day for a week.

QR used to use a 6 car ex-Brisbane suburban stainless steel set for these services until 2018 then they became difficult to maintain so now they use the timber cars instead.
