Family of Goldfinches

Much as I would like to cut down this dead tree in my yard and use the logs for heating, a family of Goldfinches regularly use the bare branches to gather and sing to each other. There were 17 of these little birds on the day photo was taken, but often I've seen in excess of 25-30 at a time.
Fred Fouarge, Jennifer Murphy, Smiley Derleth and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo
