A Eurasian red squirrel ( Sciurus vulgaris ) has found a nice sunny spot on the branch. Just before it came up here, I saw that it was inspecting a bird's nest. I only saw it from underneath the nest, so I don't know what it was doing, but I've read that they can eat eggs. Afterwards, it was sitting here for a long time (making the photographer happy and grateful!) and it looked like it from time to time had something like a little hiccup... There are many opinions on the new area in Oslo, but at least it's a great playground for photographers! Around and between the "barcode" buildings, there are lots of architectural details, lines, reflecting surfaces and other elements that can't easily be found elsewhere in Oslo.
