Dresdner Gaslaternen (59)

This historic gas lantern on the Neumarkt is located on the north side of the Frauenkirche. In the chosen perspective, it separates the architectural styles of Baroque and Historicism. The shadow of the lantern points directly to the Coselpalais (1764). To the left of the lantern is the Lipsiusbau (1894), the Dresden Art Academy, with the glass dome called the Lemon Press and the golden Fama (Pfeme) on the top.

Diese historische Laterne befindet sich an der Nordseite der Frauenkirche auf den Neumarkt. In der gewählten Perspektive trennt die Laterne die Baustile Spätbarock und Historismus. Ihr Schatten weist direkt auf das Coselpalais (1764). Links von ihr steht der Lipsiusbau (1894), die Kunstakademie Dresden, mit der als Zitronenpresse benannten Glaskuppel und der goldene Fama (Pfeme) auf der Spitze.
