Toronto has been having a building boom for the last 15 or 20 years, At least. In facy, much of Toronto seems to have been built in one building boom after another. And yes, many photo opportunities. That's why I have so many photos of traffic cones.

It's great that they retained their streetcars. HFF and have a great weekend, john.

Toronto's streetcars are very retro, too, George, probably because they've been operating continuously for over a century. Most of them run in traffic rather than on rights-of-way, for example. The type pf car in the photo is no longer used, though. The new articulated cars actually have pantographs, so I guess we're a bit less retro now. All the best for the weekend.

Thanks, Roger, and a good weekend to you. Alas, the type of streetcar in the photo is long gone. I used to like them because they had a sunroom in the back for long-legged people, a category into which I fall. The new ones are cool but not as convenient for us.
