Kormorane

Kormorane
Etwas abseits des Trubels von Saint-Tropez haben sich die beiden Kormorane auf einem Felsen am Meer niedergelassen. In der Nachmittagsonne dösen sie vor sich hin. Der deutsch Name stammt übrigens aus dem Altfranzösischem. Cormareng heißt so viel wie "Meerrabe". Anhand der smaragdgrünen Iris kann man diese beiden Vertreter als erwachsene Vögel einstufen. Hier an den Mitelmeerküsten ist der Kormoran Überwinterungsgast.
