Von L'Alpe-d'Huez führt die Route du Col de Sarenne mit geringer Steigung zum gleichnamigen Pass. In der Abgeschiedenheit muss man auch mal mit einer großen Schafherde rechnen, die entlang der Straße getrieben wird.
