Nur wenige Häuser stehen in der kleinen ligurischen Ortschaft San Michele. Von hier aus geht die Passtraße hinauf zum Col de Vescavo, der schon auf frnzösischen Terretorium liegt. Über die Bahnlinie im führt diese kleine Fußgängerbrücke.
