Die Auffahrt zum Col du Mont Cenis schraubt sich auf italienischer Seite aus Dem Susatal über mehrere Serpentinen auf 2081 Meter Höhe hinauf. Entstanden ist das Bild aber schon auf französischer Seite. Die Grenze zu Italien liegt unmittelbar hinter dem kleinen Wasserbecken in der linken Bildhälfte.

A wonderful and interesting picture, which I like very much!
Very nice composition showing a very twisted road!
I have seen guys on bicycles riding up this kind of road, no doubt for the miles of easy journey back home!
