Im 11. Jahrhundert wurde diese romanische Kapelle erbaut. Im 16. Jahrhundert gelangte die Kapelle in den Besitz der Zisterzienser von Silvance und erhielt ihren jetzigen Namen. Sie war ein Wallfahrtsort, um hier nach Regen für die unterhalb der Hügelkette liegenden Felder zu bitten.
