Die Kathredrale in Aix

An der Stelle wo sich einst in römischer Zeit das Forum befand, steht heute die Kathedrale Saint-Sauveur von Aix-en-Provence. An der bedeutensten Kirche der Stadt wurde über 5 Jahrhunderte gebaut. Das ist deutlich an ihren verschiedenen Baustilen zu erkennen. Besonders beeindruckend ist das Hauptportal mit seinen spitzauslaufenden Türmchen, die die Fassade flankieren.

Danke Tanja. Als ich die Kathedrale besucht habe, spielte sogar die Orgel. Es war einfach schön.
