Das Fort wurde 1880 erbaut. Damals gehörte die Gegend um Tenda noch zu Italien. 1947 wurde die Gemeinde dann an Frankreich abgetreten.

Ein Stück bin dort oben auf dem Pass auch gelaufen, doch danach hat mich der Skoda noch gut nach Hause gebracht.

Damals gabs diese irren Dieselüberlegungen noch nicht. Deshalb konnte ich mit dem Auto auch wieder sorgenfrei vom Pass herunter fahren.
