The River Cam at Cambridge during global warming simulation

Originally posted for the Guesswhere UK group.
This is the bridge over the River Cam at Cambridge. The department of geophysics at the university wanted to set up an experiment to test theories of global warming and rising sea-level, so they rigged up a time-warp environmental shield around the entire city within which they could change climate temperature and elevation in a sort of microcosm without affecting the rest of the country. This is a photo of the result after the experiment had only been running nine hours.
