Quinag: Northward panorama from Sàil Gharbh
A day on Quinag - photo 20.
A panoramic view consisting of three landscape-style photos stiched together, taken from the northern descenting spur of Sàil Gharbh, with Sàil Ghorm summit visible on the left. The northerly view takes in Kylesku and the far north-west Highlands of Sutherland.
The striking colour change from grey to pink in the left foreground marks the uncornformity of the Cambrian Basal Quartzite resting on the Torridonian Sandstone.
