I always had the idea that someday when I had my very own house it would be kind of cool to redo the countertops/backsplash with tiles that I made; when I found *this* house, the unfortunate shade of granite covering the *entire* kitchen made the tiling project a priority. :)
Still have another 200+ tiles to glaze, but I think i'm liking it so far... :)

dsglass club has replied to Andy Rodker clubI finished glazing the rest of the tiles - added some darker ambers/browns to the mix, and more of the blue and the darker greens; i'll probably do one more round, so i can more easily tweak the balance of colors. I'm back trying to get the old place packed up now (and the rest of the tiles still need to be fired ;) ), so it'll probably be at least another month or so before the new kitchen happens, but there will definitely be pictures. :D
