Frankly, I don't know.
Whether it is a "genuine" one (what ever this means) or not. Some say yes, some think it's a fake. But if it is, it's still a beautiful piece of land-art.
For me it *is* genuine. And nobody has to give me an explanation for it. Not all things on this earth need one - some are just wonders.
I was lucky as I was one of the first on the first day it was open, friday july 17th, early in the afternoon. I was there again on saturday evening, when the sun came out around 7 pm. The following pictures are from both days - you will certainly notice the different light. Unfortunately you will see the changes the visitors left in the meantime, too. That's making these fotos most dear to me, even more so with the news of the circle being all over the press today.
More pictures will follow - I will certainly go there again :-) It's not that I feel a lot of "energy" within or something of that kind - it's more this feeling of "wonder". It just feels kind of "right". And it flows... difficult to describe. But this feeling of "flowing" is one of the reasons I don't think it's manmade. I just don't know - and it doesn't matter.
More in some of the descriptions.
