Capt. Cyrus Moore III was commander of the Athens boys

And he got them together, in uniform, for the dedication of a plaque in 2018 at the Athens Armory, at the top of Court Street. When he's not winning World War I, he's an expert at the Southeast Ohio History Center.

Building a tower from spaghetti topped by a marshmallow

It was literally a team-building exercise, and all hands were involved. Teams of young women were given uncooked spaghetti, masking tape, string, and a marshmallow. They made towers using the speghetti, tape, and string, and were required to then mount the marshmallow on the top without the whole thing falling down. The tallest tower -- this one -- won.
