Gray day infrared I

Very gray, low-contrast day with slight mist. While devoid of the normal infrared pop, the results were interesting. Here's Ohio University's College Green, with Cutlet Hall in the background. 850nm

An infrared iris experiment

The picture OOC was terrible, but the color slider in the GIMP changed things considerably. 850nm

Familiar scene @ 850nm

For black-and-white, I think the 850nm filter is just right.

And still playing in the woods

As spring moves along, the flavor of the infrared changes nicely. And the Rokinon fisheye doesn't always make fisheye-looking pictures. Would you have guessed that this is made with a fisheye?

Playing, still, in the back yard

This was shot with the Rokinon fisheye, which defishes nicely if I want -- though I didn't want today -- and which almost alone among my modern lenses doesn't have an awful hotspot.
