There be cat
June's grandmother's rose
Public workers. Idiots. But I repeat myself.

Didn't quite make it
About to molt
When a cicada looks you in the eye . . .
Flat beer
Unexpected artwork
Amber wave of grain
A happy accident
Not like a big pizza pie, actually
Somebody got hissef a new truck
When it absolutely, positively . . .
And another alley
A commentary on our times
Sticks and stones
And another red door
One tree, many trunks
Lake Hope, autumn, just after sunset
Lake Hope, autumn, before sunset
Man with ears in room
Harsh reality
The best bubble I saw all morning
Red door or not
An alley in the rain
Playing it safe
Checking for the tomato's owner
Considering a fallen tomato
Heading out
Considering the options
Taking a peek
Why it's called a "box turtle"
It's a male
In the good old days
Every journey begins with a single step . . .
Street textures
"Eyed" click beetle -- another view
"Eyed" click beetle
Not technically a motorcycle . . .
Jake apparently was here

Reaching out

The sky was just cloudy enough to make it possible to get the tones and shininess of these leaves -- I've tried many times (and, now, failed that many times -1) to take this picture. The little X10 is great for this kind of picture making. Wish they'd scale it up and make an X100 with a 24mm-100mm effective focal length. And maybe a normal-ish sensor, as opposed to those trick sensors Fuji is all the time making, which render RAW files pretty useless.
