A view to the North West from the A9

A view to the North-West from the A9 a few miles north of Balsporran Cottage which always reminds me we are almost home on the long journey from the south. Back in the early 1960s the A9 north of Perth was single track with passing places, for extended lengths through the Highlands. Part of the original A9 can be seen in the foreground. It is now a cycling track!
