A most remarkable site. Currently, more than 100 statues (2.5 - 7 m high) have been erected and you can watch the sculptors at work.
The aim is to create a "Breton Easter Island of the 3rd millennium", a place honoring the collective memory of Brittany through the installation of large granite statues, to the effigy of 1000 Breton saints who founded a parish; around myths of foundation are added legends telling the exploits of these characters.

Listen to the sound of flowing water.... "I rest my head on a stone and rinse my ear in the river," can be read on the ear-shaped sculpture that lies at the foot of the bridge that spans the river Sorgue. The custom is to make a wish and throw a coin.
A gift from the german artist Walter Mangold in homage to the poet and resistant René Char, born at l'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.
