Sunrise in Glen Affric
I took this in the morning after a night of wild camping in Glen Affric when I was walking the 44 mile (77km) Affric Kintail way. I was rewarded with an awesome night sky and the sunrise was just amazing. I got so many pictures I hardly had time for breakfast! This was one of the pictures with the sun bursting through the misty Scots pines.
Ben Ledi
This is an old picture of dawn on Ben Ledi looking north that I have re-done in Lightroom. Most of my old pictures were originally processed from Raw using Luminance HDR and Gimp.
Loch Etive

Loch an Eilein
I wild camped in this very spot under a tarp. I hoped for a sunrise, but this was the only shot that I got. I was still lying in my sleeping bag and the cloud was racing eastward. It was still great to have been here!
Towards Morvich
This was taken not long after leaving Camban Bothy, where we had stayed the night. We were heading to Morvich and the end of Affric Kintail way. This was the most rugged and mountainous part of the trail.

Loch lubhair
I was driving north and I saw that this loch was calm, like a mirror. I had to stop and grab a picture.
