Look into the small Eye of the Apple Snail...

On one of my trips to Indonesia we saw a lot of Apple Snails in the fishing pond of my nephew...
He wasn't very happy with them all... It's really a plague!

Seeing what these things look like is fascinating .. when I lived in Florida, all I ever saw were the pink eggs on reed stalks in lakes or the empty shells on the bank.

Limpkins, not sure if they are anywhere else in the world, have these snails almost exclusively for their diet.
