This isn't edited, but really out of the camera. Last year I learned to put such pictures. I like the background very much too.
The picture is made for a bit through another flower, so you get these fading parts in front of them. The background becomes by full zoom....

Hi Christien, I am trying different settings on my camera. Some work and some do not! That is a good idea to view partly through another flower and works so beautifully.

For such pictures you have to choose the smallest diafragma number which is possible Rosa...
I choose most of them f/2.8 - f/3.2. I don't know if you have that also on your Nicon?
