I am so sorry Armando. I should have added notes. Thank you and RNLI is the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. These brave men and women help to save lives at sea, often in treacherous conditions.
The building here is the lifeboat station.

Thank you very much Rosa. I love these characters. Some of the early ones are a bit worse for wear with tatty clothes and bits missing which is a shame but to be expected along a windy coastline. This one looks quite new and is very well made.

Thank you very much Herb. I really like these characters. Of course some have been there a long time now and are tatty and damaged which is a shame. Being on the coast and exposed to the weather it is to be expected I guess. They just make me smile. I guess that is the idea!
I really liked the fishermen Roger captured too. I don;t know if the RNLI man was there when you visited? I don't think I have seen him on previous visits.

Thank you very much Adele. The RNLI have my utmost admiration, volunteering to go to sea often in perilous conditions to rescue others and risking their own lives in the process.

I actually went to take a photo of the RNLI Lifeboat station seen in the PiP because the building is lovely and I like the huge red doors, but then I saw the liitle figure and had to smile! I think he must be a part of the series of characters that feature all around the town but he looks at home here!!

You may be right about the dorrs to the Lifeboat station. I went there to take photos as I really like the huge doors and the station is an attractive building, and then found the new addition in place. He looks just right there,
