Cuckooflower

The common name cuckooflower derives from the formation of the plant's flowers at around the same time as the arrival each spring of the first cuckoos in the British Isles

And a terrific wildflower trio!
Why has no one else commented on these lovely shots? I am running about 2-3 days behind with my comments and there should have been a healthy number of comments before mine.
Yours,
puzzled,
Andy

Andy Rodker club has replied to Doug Shepherd clubI love seeing the photos of other members but it is too time-consuming. I prefer to try to keep up to date and thank members who visit and comment on my photos and, when I can, I try and comment on a few of theirs, but I am getting further behind; about 4 days I think. I can't see myself catching up any time soon!
A couple of members who keep count of these things (!) get upset when they don't see my yellow stars immediately, if at all. I'm unimpressed with this attitude and will have to block them if they persist. Better just to ignore them, but they have my email address (long contact on Pano and this issue wasn't so bad then!) . Sorry - got carried away a little there!
Best wishes,
Andy
Doug Shepherd club has replied to Andy Rodker clubI can never understand why people have to get competitive about the number of 'stars' they receive for their images. To me the purpose of sites such as Ipernity is about people, not a numbers game. An honest comment is to me worth much more than a star without any sense of why it is worthy of the star. I myself am guilty of posting just a star, but I don't like to do it - My excuse is that I have five Corgis to look after, so time can be a bit short!
All the best, Doug
Best wishes, Rosa.
