I keep away from them anyway, 5 times out of 10 you might find a viper coiled up under them in the warmer weather. They never seem to warn against that.

Do people actually come here just to mess about on log stacks? Do they get hurt when the stacks shift? Serves them right! People can be so stupid.
(And I talk as someone fond of messing about on the rocks, where risk has to be evaluated very carefully before doing anything!)

I have been walking my dogs in this area for nearly thirty years now Andy, I have yet to see anyone messing about on the log stacks. The sign is I think, the company felling the trees covering their backsides under the Health & Safety Act.
