Boarischa Krautmo club has replied to Doug Shepherd clubMatz is Frankonian and Upper Palatinate dialect for an eloquent, but also a somewhat loose lady. "roud" is dialect and means red. A "roude Matz" might be a red haired lady, but in most cases it is used as an enhancemet for Matz. To cap it all off we call it a feiaroude Matz. "feia" is dialect for fire and it's again an emphasis - a feiaroude Matz means the most matzy Matz ever ;-)))
