Mitten im Wald gefunden ... Found in the middle of the forest ...

Bei einem Spaziergang fand ich mitten im Wald diese kleine Gruppe von Krokus. Ein schöner Frühlingsgruß. Aber, wie kommt diese Gartenpflanze in den Wald? Eine Möglichkeit wäre, dass Gartenbesitzer überschüssige Krokuspflanzen im Freien aussetzten. Eine zweite Möglichkeit: Krokusse sind Schwertliliengewächse, die sich mittels ihrer Brotknollen, aber auch durch ihre Samen vermehren können, die von Tieren verbreitet werden.
Übrigens ist auch der Safran (Crocus sativus) ein Krokusgewächs.
