Ein Blick ins Vogelschutzgebiet - A view of the bird sanctuary

Im Vogelschutzgebiet Garstadt (bei Schweinfurt am Main) ist inzwischen auch ein Vogelbeobachtungsturm mit einigen Informationstafeln gebaut worden, von dem aus man einen guten Überblick über das Schutzgebiet hat und Vögel beobachten und fotografieren kann. Im Bildvordergrund links schwimmend im See Enten und Blässhühner, hinten auf dem See Graugänse. Ein Teil des Sees ist noch mit Eis bedeckt, denn in der Nacht war es sehr kalt. Die Aufnahme ist eine Gegenlichtaufnahme mit Blick nach Süden (also in das Sonnenlicht).

In the Garstadt bird sanctuary (near Schweinfurt on the Main), a bird watching tower has now also been built with some information boards, from which one has a good overview of the sanctuary and can observe and photograph birds.
