Sommerzeit - Summertime

Eine Goldene Acht (Colias hyale) saugt Nektar auf einer Compositenblüte. Das blaue Bokeh entstand durch viele Lavendelblüten im Hintergrund. Die Goldene Acht kann man wegen des auffälligen Flecks auf der Unterseite der Hinterflügel, der einer 8 ähnelt, von einem Zitronenfalter unterscheiden.
Die Aufnahme entstand im Botanischen Garten der Universität Würzburg.

A pale clouded yellow (Colias hyale) sucks nectar on an unknown composite flower. The blue bokeh was created by many lavender flowers in the background. The pale clouded yellow can be distinguished from a common brimstone because of the conspicuous spot on the underside of the back wings, which resembles the figure 8.
