Albino Squirrel 1

I've heard about the little albino that lived in the park closer to the cafe. As we were going to the Old Roar area the other day we happen upon this guy barking in the tree at a cat.

The local folks around were telling us there are at least three in the Old Roar, Buckshole (prolly got this wrong again) area, this is definitely the second as there are slight marks on the right ear that don't match.
How totally cute though sleepin in the tree :D

I think one of the young, he seemed far more aggitated by human company than the others we usually see.
King Fisher
|
|
Ok, I know this photo is more of an abstract then a lovely photo of the King Fisher from the catchment pond near Harmans, however, there is a reason for me posting it.
It is indeed a king fisher, which was sitting perfectly still (amazing to even see) at the pond but as soon as my focus was set, off he went.
Last year the jays gave me fits, and as soon as I decided I'd gotten the best I could (photo wise) and posted it, I got more great shots. So testing to see if this will work for the King Fisher (fingers crossed I get a good one :P )
