Unknown Beetle
Some of the other lovely things that show up at a moth box.
This looks suspiciously like one of the pond beetles, but I'm not sure.

Haha, no its just odd looking. I think its a pond beetle of sorts which might explain the wet look under the wing case.

erm its not under water, its just a fresh water species so maybe that is why it looks weird, otherwise hes just a beetle guy I photographed. We often get interesting beetles and other insects attracted to the moth trap light.
