John Lawrence Webb of Maidenhead (left hand boxer), Possibly Royal Berkshires, World War One

For once its been reasonably easy to find a bit about this old pic. According to the 1901 census John was born in Maidenhead (or possibly Cookham) Berkshire c1891 the son of Arthur and Sarah Webb. He was the fifth of eight children and appears to have survived the war. His elder brother Joseph Albert of the Royal Berkshires was however killed at Loos 25th of September 1915.
According to the 1911 census John was a gardener before the war at a large house in Maidenhead, but later became a chauffeur. He lived in Cornwallis Road Maidenhead with his mother and siblings in 1911 . At the time of his enlistment in 1914 he was married and lived at Laurel Cottage, Cox Green. I've not been able to find out anything about his war years sadly.
