Das Naturschutzgebiet Soos, etwa 6 km nordöstlich von Franzensbad (Františkovy Lázně) gelegen.
Das Gebiet mit einer Fläche von 221 ha wurde 1964 zum nationalen Naturschutzgebiet erklärt.
Das Naturschutzgebiet Soos ist ein ausgedehntes Moor- und Torfgebiet, wo in sog. 'Mofetten' (kleine 'Schlammvulkane') Mineralquellen und reines Kohlendioxid an der Erdoberfläche austreten.
Der etwa 1,2km langer Pfad führt durch einen ausgetrockneten See, der früher mit salzigem (Mineral-)Wasser gefüllt war.
