The expression "bird brain" is accurate! The stupid thing was standing in the garden for over 15 minutes without moving - just staring into space and getting snowed on. There was perfectly good shelter nearby, which it finally decided to head for!

Magnificent birds of prey which are breeding well along the Chilterns escarpment. This crow made the mistake of getting mixed up with a small flock of them before escaping.
