We made three different sorts of liqueur this year. The fruit that is left after draining off the alcohol is not useful for making anything we eat, so we mixed a batch of it up with some bran - and some sugar to make it more palatable - and we gave it to Nigella and Delia. They were WILD about it, even though they had just had their usual dinner.
