behold Donna KeBabs!

Donna KeBabs was born just after midnight on 10/10/13, to Halley, our half Fresian half red Angus cow. It is Halley's first live birth. We thought she would never calf - it was almost a month after what we thought was the due date. Halley was not as much of a "natural mother" as Martha: she didn;t eat the placenta (a very important thing for a cow to do after calving); she didn't like Donna drinking at first (despite clearing accepting her, licking her etc) but she is starting to settle right into her new role as a mum.
