sleepout almost ready

We have been converting the old dairy into a sleepout for the last 18 months, with almost all the work done by various WWOOFers. They: bricked the 5 vents; closed the large hole in the wall where the machinery was; removed the many remaining fittings protruding from the walls; filled in all the holes and gaps in the floor and walls; replaced the old louvre window with a sliding window; removed the other louvre window and installed a door; installed a fly screen door; cleaned the walls; undercoat and final coat on walls and ceiling; carpeted the floor; installed curtain rods. We had electricity put through to it (thanks to Fritz the sparkie), and Ad replaced the laserlite. I'm making curtains, and ebay provided a cheap futon couch/double bed, coffee table, and shelf/desk. Curtains and bedspreads from local op shops. Ad's old single bed, drawers from friends, and a rug from our holiday to Corfu. Cosy! (Still have to paint the doors, finish the curtains, and make 2 door dogs.)
