Papierfabrik HC
The paper factory was founded in 1887 by family Schweizer and changed the owner several times. 1930 a hydro power plant with 5 Francis turbines (2.2 MW) was erected. During the last years corrugated board base papers were produced on a waste paper basis, with a capacity of 165000 tons/year. Abandoned since 2013, when 100 employees lost their job. - Austria

Gutes Spiegelbild, wenn auch die Fabrik sich nicht so in die Landschaft einfügen mag. Aber auch in den Alpen braucht es Arbeitsplätze.
