Gärungschemie
The former sugar refinery (founded 1871) was a company that initially produced sugar from molasses and developed into a general chemical company at the beginning of the 1920s. It was the main manufacturer of Zyklon B. After continuing to operate in the GDR after WWII, the company was finally dissolved in 2003.

Gut ins Bild gesetzt, und interessante (sowie schreckliche) Information.

Da könnte ich ein Foto beisteuern, wo einstmals die Handelsfirma saß,
die mit dem Gas die KZ beliefert hat. Am Gebäude wurde nach längerem Streit mit dem
Hauseigentümer dann von der Stadt HH doch eine Plakette mit den entsprechenden Infos
angebracht:
