Val d'Isère - the green hippo has left the building
Known as ski resort, Val d'Isere is much less busy in summer time. The "Funival" is the only funicular in Val d'Isère and provides access to a platform under the Bellevarde rock summit (ca. 2700 m). Historically, it is the first underground funicular in France. - scanned slide, Minolta X700

In these very sad times, when a madman and his crazy followers destroy peace, lifes, a whole country, creating instability for decades, other issues which could be interpreted only as personal sensivities, have no place, are inappropriate.

Dann genießt Eure "tollen Zeiten". Wenn der Vorstand dieses Vereins nicht imstande ist, entsprechend auf die genannten inakzeptablen Beschimpfungen zu reagieren, bin ich kein Teil davon.

Danke für dein feedback, ja bei Flickr hatte ich damals ein account geöffnet, als ich dachte, mit Ipernity geht es zu Ende. Das war aber glücklicherweise nicht der Fall - daher mein leeres account... Ich werde aber trotzdem mal bei dir reinschauen, "lost places" haben mich immer schon fasziniert.
