Spring snowflake (Leucojum vernum). The plant is still widespread in Austria. North of the Alps, it is highly endangered due to human intervention in natural habitats. In Germany it is on the red list. ~~~~~ Ein Märzenbecher (Frühlingsknotenblume, Leucojum vernum). In Österreich ist die Pflanze noch weit verbreitet. Nördlich der Alpen ist sie aufgrund menschlicher Eingriffe in die natürlichen Lebensräume stark gefährdet. In Deutschland steht sie auf der Roten Liste. ~~~~~ They are similar to Snowdrops, but different:

On the suspension bridge on the Stubnerkogel (2,200 m) above Bad Gastein (Salzburg, Austria). This is my last winter picture of this season. Spring is now knocking very loudly in Tyrol, too. Selbst frühmorgens sind die Pisten auch in 2.000 Metern Höhe nur noch weich. Das macht keine Freude. ~~~~~
