The hallmark of the mountain pass Reschen Pass: the protected church of St. Catherine of Old Graun. In 1950 the village had to make way for a reservoir and was flooded. 163 houses were blown up and the listed church was left standing.
The Reschen Pass is always worth the detour on the way to Italy!

Das Wahrzeichen vom Reschenpass : die denkmalgeschützte Kirche St. Katharina von Alt-Graun. Der Ort musste 1950 einem Staussee weichen und wurde überflutet. 163 Häuser wurden gesprengt, die denkmalgeschützte Kirche ließ man stehen.
Der Reschenpass ist auf dem Weg nach Italien immer den Umweg wert!
