1965 Pontiac Catalina - KBY 282C

The Catalina name was used by Pontiac from 1950 to 1981. Initially, it was used strictly to denote hardtop body styles, first appearing on the 1950 Chieftain Eight and Deluxe Eight lines.

However, in 1959, the Catalina became a separate model, as the "entry-level" full-size Pontiac.

Produced in various formats, this is the very desirable two-door fastback version.

Great photo Paul! I had a four door version of this in high school. Even with just the 389 two barrel carb it was quite fast for a boat that size! I ended up scrapping it some years later, but I still have the engine and a few of the other parts from it.

Top of the line 1965 ... around $70,000 You could probably get a very nice driver for $12,000 -$20,000.
