after six continuous times watching TV news
at SIC (*)
and updating my Internet sites
I fall asleep in the foundation's amphitheater
beside the Tagus
the river murmur in the air conditioning
of the large room
cools my thoughts connected to
the radiotherapy machine
from where arrives
an SMS by my wife saying---
today's treatment is over
I wait for you in the parking
next to the car

depois de seis vezes contínuas a ver o telejornal
da SIC Notícias
e actualizar as minhas páginas na Intenet
adormeço no anfiteatro da fundação
à beira-Tejo
o murmúrio do rio no ar condicionado
da grande sala
arrefece-me o pensamento ligado
à máquina de radioterapia
de onde chega um SMS
da minha mulher dizendo---
tratamenbto de hoje terminado
espero-te no parque de estacionamento
junto ao carro
